Tasked by Björn Rudberg at dVerse to dictionary, and find nouns or adjectives that may turn a poem from descriptive to action-packed, I hereby verbify and prose as follows:
I goal to verbify where none have verbified before.
I woke and pronoun, fellow-travel with those who podium and medal, who hospitalize, host, anchor, FedEx and Uber. I uglify the language, handbag the purists into dust, and action the dictionary until it disgorges its nouns and I corporate-speak fluently. The purists gatekeep our beautiful, peerless tongue for too long. I oblive them. I will aggress, perversify, and mountain-top.
I plate the food and task the day. I action the statement and ghost my former friends. I spectre them. I armpit the opposition, bandwagoning straight into the limelight. I chameleon, archipelago my agenda across departments, and megaphone my demands. I am coffeepooning out.
I gimlet them with a steely eye, blackguard them into submission and skunk them from the premises. They drawbridge their escape, but I labyrinth their thoughts and kaleidoscope their vision until they cannot ankle or eyebrow. I haiku my victory and gorgonise the survivors. Albatrossed, they stand by, penduluming helplessly.
I heirloom the past, anecdote the present and barnacle myself to the high ground. I kneesock my way to the summit and emperor the lexicon.
