  1. Perfect photograph. Molly was one of a kind in all the best ways–elegant, ascerbic wit when called for, and always a delightful conversationalist. Lots of great memories, though I wish we still had chances to make more of them.

  2. I met her several times on my regular vacations in New York and Long Island.
Always welcoming and polite but also with wit and insight. I recall her telling stories of her adventures including getting stuck on Shelter Island late through missing the ferry….and all that followed! She invited me to her city apartment too which felt a great honour. Although latterly she was limited it seemed to me that she made the most of the many years she lived and friends she had made. Well done Molly….and thanks for welcoming me, “the Brit”, with generosity and kindness. A life well lived.

    1. I too was thinking of that time when she invited you to dinner and made a vegetarian meal in the closet that passed for kitchen and from which she magicked wonderful meals. She was a gift to us all.

  3. She was a friend of Louise’s. And I met her of course on many occasions. A lovely, intelligent and well-read person. May her memory be for a blessing.
