Something for International Cat Day

Apparently it’s International Cat Day (where do all these days come from?)  So – as I live with an international cat it seems like a good opportunity for a profile of said animal companion.

  • Absolutely love your post! It's amazing how these quirky international days keep popping up, right? Your idea of profiling your global feline friend on International Cat Day is just adorable. It's a wonderful way to celebrate these curious and enigmatic creatures that bring so much joy to our lives.

  • I hope your International Cat Day was a happy one! I like cats but sadly I am allergic to their fur. It doesn't stop cats liking me - achoo :)

    • Thank you It was splendid! Mind you - as for cats - they think everyday in their day - so mine was quite indifferent to the honors of the moment.

  • She is a pretty unusual cat...in many ways..not least her heritage...but adorable for the adoration and attention seeking that is her forte. Happy ICD Nasreen!

    • She is indeed. So many hypocritical "butter wouldn't melt in her mouth" poses and I have the scars to prove it.

    • While Nesreen is her official name she is also known as The Insurgent which may indicate something of her true nature.

    • This particular international cat was lounging on the table looking adorable in preparation for knocking everything onto the floor. Such is the way with cats.

  • I didn't either until i saw it trending on Twitter. Tomorrow it will be some other piece of nonsense. "International Make A Mountain Out of a Molehill Day" or some such.
